Born & raised in Chico, California, Mike McFerrin grew up around the Bay Area concert & music scene as many bands traveled to the State College there to perform. He began playing drums and joined his first band in junior high school, thus starting a life long string of music groups ranging from early rock & roll, hard rock, country, and country rock, alternative & classic rock. Studying drumming & also teaching drum set & rudimental, becoming a member of the National Association of Rudimental Drummers. Mike also began playing the guitar in high school which began an obsession which is still continuing to this day, playing classic rock and country music are his favorite pastimes these days! Mike has been in many bands throughout his lifetime & acquired a couple nicknames in the process, Mad Max Motion for one, from his years as a member of the Timebenders in the North Bay Area, hence Max!
Troy's deep baritone voice is especially suited for singing in the vocal range similar to Johnny Cash, Merle Haggard, Waylon Jennings and the like. A founding member of the Rolling Joneses, and the Legendary Tributaries, Troy Jones eventually found a frequent home in Northern Colorado as the singer for the classic country band, the Honk
